Playing Opportunities
Competition is an important part of ones development. Knowing that, BTC has implemented a 3 tier process. The 1st stage is to compete in ladder matches followed by playing in a Junior Team Tennis League (JTT). After that comes tournament play.

Junior Team Tennis
An exciting new addition to Binghamton Tennis Center has been the formation of USTA Junior Team Tennis. We are running an 18 & under JTT League this year. We are changing our format a bit to eliminate the down time between matches.
Teams are coed and the matches this season will be 6 singles matches and 3 doubles matches mirroring that of a collegiate match. The match-ups are not gender specific but rather by level and ability. All of our teams have a designated coach and is overseen by our junior team tennis coordinator Michele Wilson. In the past we allowed as many visitors as possible to cheer on our kids. This year we are only allowing 1 parent to attend the match so that we can remain social distant.
The kids are having a great time this year with the new format and we just had a match that ended 69-68 this past year! Leagues will begin to run November-March. Our local Binghamton league is on the Junior Team Tennis Site. One can view standings, match results, and individual stats here.
To get involved, please e-mail us at BTC@tennisctr.com or call 722-3491.
Junior Ladder
Our ladder has been running for many seasons, and hundreds of our juniors have used our ladder to help them improve upon strategy and match play experience. A great compliment to our JCTP and lesson programs, our junior ladder is a must if you want to advance to tournament competition. This is the first step in development towards tournament play.
Our junior ladder will be available again this Fall. Please go to our UTR site at https://app.universaltennis.com/clubs/5544895pm and register for one of the available dates listed under Junior Ladder. You must be a current member to participate in these events.
